Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for 15+ clients
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for mid-sized businesses
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Coordinate annual audits and prepare supporting documentation
- Develop financial reporting dashboards for client decision-making
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 4+ years of bookkeeping experience
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification strongly preferred
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and financial reporting tools
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Deep understanding of GAAP and NC tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error financial records
