Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients including A/P, A/R, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets)
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings for multiple entities
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and chart of accounts
- Coordinate with auditors during annual reviews and tax season
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of comprehensive bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven experience with payroll processing (ADP/Paychex)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
