Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee tax preparation and filing processes for federal/state/local authorities
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews and tax audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Xero experience a plus)
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity financial operations
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to identify discrepancies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data
