Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of bookkeeping in a tech/startup environment
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or similar certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience with multi-currency transactions
