Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax compliance (federal/state)
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with CPA firm for audit preparation and tax filings
- Implement financial controls to ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Florida tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client relationships
