Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank transactions
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) using QuickBooks Online
- Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax preparation
- Implement process improvements for financial efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage multi-client accounts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- CPA certification or pursuing CPA designation
