As the cornerstone of our clients' financial health, you'll work directly with CFOs and startup founders to ensure accurate bookkeeping, strategic financial insights, and seamless month-end processes. Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 high-growth tech clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations with zero-tolerance for errors
- Coordinate year-end audits and tax preparation with external CPA firms
- Implement and optimize accounting software integrations (Xero, Bill.com)
- Mentor junior bookkeepers and maintain financial documentation standards
- Collaborate with CFOs on cash flow forecasting and budget analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or 5+ years equivalent experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Experience with SaaS company accounting and revenue recognition
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills for variance identification and resolution
- Excellent communication abilities for client-facing financial consultations
- Proficiency with accounting software integrations and automation tools
