Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain and update general ledger entries with precision using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) for executive review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and IRS regulations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax season
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a corporate setting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions with 99% accuracy
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance and payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (e.g., Xero, NetSuite)
