- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll systems
- Prepare financial statements and donor reports for nonprofit clients
- Implement QuickBooks solutions and optimize accounting workflows
- Collaborate with auditors during annual compliance reviews
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of bookkeeping with nonprofit focus
- Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Expertise in nonprofit fund accounting and grant reporting
- Proficient with Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a client-facing role
