Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee implementation and optimization of QuickBooks and Xero accounting systems
- Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals to ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for client decision-making support
- Maintain organized digital filing systems with strict confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero expertise
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Proven experience handling multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- CPA or certification in QuickBooks/Xero highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills for client collaboration
