Responsibilities
- Manage month-end/year-end closing processes for 15+ client accounts
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios
- Process payroll using ADP/Gusto and ensure tax compliance
- Generate P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Implement QuickBooks Online optimization strategies
- Lead training sessions for junior accounting staff
- Collaborate with CPA firms during tax seasons
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Expertise in multi-state payroll compliance
- Proficient with Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Familiarity with construction or retail industries preferred
- CPA or CMA designation a strong plus
