Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows)
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and local tax regulations
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparation documentation
- Develop financial reports for client advisory meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero and Microsoft Excel
- CPA or QuickBooks certification preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Louisiana tax laws
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in high-volume environments
