Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and accounts receivable/payable monthly
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for 15+ clients
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, payroll tax regulations, and sales tax compliance
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
