Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations monthly
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements) quarterly
- Manage payroll processing for 20+ employees using ADP
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and audits
- Implement internal controls for financial compliance
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
- Experience with multi-state payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with 100% accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
