Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with precision
- Process multi-state payroll and tax filings accurately
- Generate comprehensive financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow)
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor relationships
- Implement internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Xero for financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
