Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement process improvements for financial efficiency
- Collaborate with CPA firm during audits and tax season
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong understanding of multi-state tax compliance
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Professional certification (CPA, CB) a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
