- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow optimization
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) for executive review
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly audits
- Train junior staff on QuickBooks and financial protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years experience
- Advanced QuickBooks certification and Excel mastery
- Proven expertise with multi-entity accounting
- Texas payroll tax compliance knowledge
- Experience with construction or SaaS industry accounting
- CPA or CMA designation preferred
- Proficiency in NetSuite or Xero platforms
