Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Process AP/AR with 3-way matching and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate tax documentation and assist with quarterly filings
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for audit readiness
- Collaborate with CPA firms during tax season engagements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Proven track record of managing 20+ client accounts
- Strong understanding of California sales tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments
