Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow forecasting
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting systems
- Coordinate annual audits and tax preparation with external partners
- Develop financial controls to mitigate risk and ensure SOX compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and Washington state tax regulations
- Proven experience managing multi-entity accounting systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with 0.5% reconciliation variance tolerance
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor or equivalent certification required
