Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations for California businesses
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for multiple clients
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for efficient bookkeeping workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of full-time bookkeeping experience in Sacramento
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA certification or equivalent accounting credentials preferred
- Deep understanding of California sales tax and payroll regulations
- Proven ability to manage financial records for diverse industries
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
