Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processing with 3-day reconciliation cycles
- Coordinate quarterly tax documentation preparation with CPA partners
- Implement process improvements to reduce closing timelines by 20%
- Lead monthly client financial review meetings
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUP)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification strongly preferred
- Proven track record of reducing month-end closing timelines
- Experience with nonprofit or construction industry accounting a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with error rates below 0.5%
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in fast-paced environment
