Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end closing reports including P&L statements and balance sheets
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable with strict adherence to SOX compliance
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals
- Implement process improvements for financial workflow automation
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Certification in QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with Intacct or similar ERP systems
