Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoicing, payment posting, and reconciliation
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct client communication and documentation
- Collaborate with sales teams to process contracts and ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Analyze aging reports to prioritize collections and reduce outstanding receivables
- Implement process improvements using Salesforce and NetSuite systems
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and industry regulations
- Mentor junior billing staff and cross-functional team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management
- Proficiency in Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) or equivalent preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP revenue recognition principles
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and financial modeling
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
