- Ensure HIPAA and CMS compliance in all billing operations
- Train and mentor junior billing staff on best practices
- Analyze billing data to identify process improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with clinical teams for accurate charge documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in multi-specialty practice
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential required
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EMR and Medisoft billing platforms
- Proven ability to reduce claim denial rates by 15%+
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven problem-solving approach
- Excellent communication for resolving patient billing inquiries
