Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end medical billing processes including claim submission, follow-up, and resolution
- Analyze and reconcile insurance denials to maximize reimbursement rates
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate coding and documentation
- Generate monthly revenue reports and identify process improvement opportunities
- Train staff on billing software updates and best practices
- Resolve patient billing inquiries with exceptional service standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR billing systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with AR aging reports and denial management
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced healthcare environment
