- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 500+ patient accounts using Epic EMR system
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials and appeals within 30-day SLA
- Analyze aging reports to optimize accounts receivable collections
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate charge capture and coding
- Conduct quarterly audits for HIPAA and CMS compliance
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and system updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and UB-04 form completion
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and Denial Management tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Excellent communication abilities for patient and insurer interactions
