Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 200+ patient accounts daily
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials and appeals within 30-day SLA
- Conduct regular audits of charge master and CPT/ICD-10 coding accuracy
- Collaborate with collections team to maintain <90-day accounts receivable
- Implement process improvements using Epic EMR system
- Train junior staff on billing compliance protocols
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial/MA payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC-A credential required
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and Denial Management tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- BS in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare Advantage billing
