Responsibilities
- Process and submit accurate invoices to clients within established deadlines
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers with payment records
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
- Generate monthly billing reports and financial statements
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure contract compliance
- Manage insurance verification and claim submissions
- Implement process improvements for billing efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency in medical billing software (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table expertise
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification preferred
