- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and insurance denials with 95%+ accuracy
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure compliance with HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Generate monthly reports on AR aging and KPIs for executive leadership
- Train junior staff on billing software best practices and compliance protocols
- Conduct quarterly audits to identify process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Expertise in Epic Resolute or similar EHR billing modules
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP and pivot table skills
- Proven track record of reducing AR days by 20%+
- Experience with Texas Medicaid and Blue Cross Blue Shield protocols
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
