Responsibilities
- Process complex transactions including deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and currency exchanges
- Proactively identify cross-sell opportunities for banking products and services
- Resolve customer inquiries with empathy and efficiency while maintaining compliance standards
- Balance daily transactions and prepare accurate cash reports
- Maintain strict adherence to security protocols and anti-fraud measures
- Train and mentor new teller staff on operational procedures
- Contribute to branch goals by meeting sales targets and service metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of banking or cash handling experience
- Proven ability to maintain 100% cash balancing accuracy
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation E, BSA, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with core banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Valid Georgia Notary Public commission preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
- Associates degree in Finance or Business preferred
