Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions with precision including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
- Build trust by resolving account inquiries and recommending appropriate banking products
- Safeguard assets through accurate cash handling and strict adherence to security protocols
- Support branch operations by balancing cash drawers and assisting with audits
- Mentor junior tellers on service standards and procedural compliance
- Collaborate with commercial bankers to identify business development opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cash handling experience in banking or retail environment
- Proven ability to maintain 100% transaction accuracy under pressure
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Reg CC, BSA, AML)
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse customer interactions
- Proficiency in core banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
