Responsibilities
- Process 100+ daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with 100% accuracy
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized financial consultations
- Resolve complex account inquiries and disputes with empathy and efficiency
- Actively cross-sell bank products and services to meet quarterly targets
- Maintain strict compliance with federal banking regulations and security protocols
- Train and mentor junior tellers on operational procedures and customer service excellence
- Participate in branch initiatives to enhance community outreach programs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience in a financial services environment
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets in a customer-facing role
- Proficient with banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Strong mathematical aptitude with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Valid California Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
- Pass federal background check and credit check
