Responsibilities
- Lead Research: Spearhead the design and implementation of novel deep learning architectures for autonomous decision-making systems and future-proof AI agents.
- Model Optimization: Optimize large-scale transformer models for efficiency, low latency, and cost reduction in real-world production environments.
- Publication: Author high-impact research papers for top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL) to establish thought leadership and drive academic discourse.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional engineering and product teams to bridge the gap between theoretical research and production deployment.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
- Strategy: Define long-term research roadmaps aligned with the company's vision for the 2026 technology landscape.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with a focus on Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience: 5+ years of industrial or academic experience in deep learning, neural networks, and large language models (LLMs).
- Tools: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face libraries; strong scripting skills for data preprocessing and ETL.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of NLP, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning methodologies; experience with MLOps and model serving.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle ambiguous, high-impact problems with creative and rigorous solutions.
