Responsibilities
- Research & Development: Design and implement novel deep learning architectures and algorithms to solve unstructured problems.
- Model Optimization: Optimize existing models for speed, accuracy, and efficiency, reducing inference costs by up to 40%.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, conducting code reviews and architectural discussions.
- Prototyping: Rapidly prototype and validate concepts using Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to translate research into production-ready APIs.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and research papers for publication.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, deep learning, or NLP.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of transformer models, diffusion models, or reinforcement learning.
- Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex systems and optimize performance under tight constraints.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
