In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of scalable machine learning infrastructure, optimizing model performance for real-world applications. Responsibilities
- Model Engineering: Design, train, and fine-tune state-of-the-art deep learning models, including transformers and diffusion models, to achieve superior accuracy and efficiency.
- Production Deployment: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for deploying AI models to production environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Optimization: Reduce model latency and computational costs through quantization, pruning, and hardware acceleration techniques (GPU/CPU).
- Data Strategy: Oversee the end-to-end data lifecycle, including data ingestion, cleaning, and feature engineering for large-scale datasets.
- Research Implementation: Translate cutting-edge academic research into production-ready code and prototypes.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and software engineers to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into our platform.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning Engineering or Applied Research.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow; experience with CUDA and GPU programming.
- Big Data: Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark, Ray, or Dask.
- System Design: Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
