Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art deep learning models for natural language processing and computer vision applications.
- System Architecture: Architect scalable machine learning pipelines that handle petabytes of data with low latency and high availability.
- Research & Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI research, implementing novel algorithms and techniques to improve model performance and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Production Optimization: Continuously monitor model performance in production, perform A/B testing, and optimize for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or applied research.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) and C++. Deep understanding of distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, Apache Spark, Ray).
- Domain Knowledge: Strong background in NLP (Transformers, LLMs) or Computer Vision (CNNs, GANs) is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize algorithms for performance and resource usage.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
