Responsibilities
- Lead Architectural Vision: Define and oversee the technical architecture for our core AI infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance for the 2026 rollout.
- Algorithm Development: Spearhead the research and implementation of advanced machine learning models, specifically focusing on Generative AI and Predictive Analytics.
- System Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing codebases to reduce latency and improve computational efficiency in real-time environments.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the engineering department.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and investors.
- Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous security protocols and ensure all AI models adhere to federal and international data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering and AI development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architectural role.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and experience with large language model (LLM) fine-tuning and deployment.
- Infrastructure: Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system failures and innovate under pressure.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical strategies to diverse audiences.
