Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the deployment of robust AI infrastructure using microservices and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune and optimize large-scale transformer models for real-time inference and low-latency applications.
- Agentic Workflows: Develop autonomous agents capable of chaining tools and APIs to perform high-level reasoning tasks.
- Performance Engineering: Implement MLOps pipelines to ensure model scalability, monitoring, and continuous integration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
- Future-Proofing: Research emerging trends in AI, such as Multimodal Learning and Neural Symbolic AI, to guide our roadmap.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Mastery: Extensive experience with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- System Design: Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/GCP), and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering or AI Research.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of delivering complex AI systems from prototype to production.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
