Responsibilities
- Lead AI Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for 2026, focusing on LLM optimization, fine-tuning, and deployment strategies.
- System Design: Architect robust, fault-tolerant machine learning pipelines and data ingestion systems.
- Model Development: Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy proprietary AI models using PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Code Quality: Establish coding standards and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering excellence.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of high-performing engineers and conduct technical workshops.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor model latency, throughput, and accuracy to ensure real-time user experiences.
- Security & Ethics: Implement best practices for AI governance, bias mitigation, and data privacy compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specifically in AI/ML engineering.
- Programming: Deep expertise in Python, C++, or Rust; strong understanding of distributed systems.
- Frameworks: Proficient in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; experience with Hugging Face Transformers and LangChain.
- Cloud Native: Experience deploying models on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex scalability and performance challenges.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
