Aether Systems is pioneering the next generation of autonomous agents and generative AI. We are looking for a visionary Senior AI Architect to define the technical roadmap for our 2026 product suite. In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical research and scalable production engineering, ensuring our solutions are robust, ethical, and future-proof.
Responsibilities
- Architect & Design: Lead the end-to-end design of AI systems, focusing on scalability, latency optimization, and fault tolerance for our 2026 core products.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research initiatives into emerging AI paradigms, including multimodal learning and edge AI deployment.
- Model Optimization: Oversee the fine-tuning and quantization of LLMs to ensure high performance on consumer hardware.
- Technical Strategy: Define the architectural vision for integrating AI agents into our existing cloud infrastructure.
- Mentorship: Foster a culture of innovation by mentoring junior engineers and conducting code reviews on complex technical solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically focused on AI/ML systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow; experience with distributed systems (Kubernetes, Docker) is highly preferred.
- AI Expertise: Deep understanding of transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and prompt engineering strategies.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle ambiguous problems and deliver innovative solutions under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
