Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design end-to-end AI infrastructure, including data pipelines, model training environments, and deployment strategies for cloud-native applications.
- Model Optimization: Collaborate with data scientists to optimize model performance, reduce latency, and improve inference accuracy at scale.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, conducting code reviews and establishing best practices for AI development.
- Scalability: Ensure systems can handle high throughput and data volumes, implementing strategies for horizontal scaling and fault tolerance.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Infrastructure: Strong understanding of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and drive technical solutions from conception to deployment.
