Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Optimize payment cycles to maximize cash flow efficiency
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure compliance with SOX controls
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP subledger
- Maintain accurate vendor master data and payment records
- Conduct periodic internal control audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Certification (AP, CAPP, or similar) strongly preferred
- Proven experience with high-volume payment processing (>1000 invoices/month)
- Expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
