We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team in San Diego, CA. This is a critical Night Shift position (6:00 PM - 2:30 AM) designed for individuals who thrive in a self-directed environment and want to play a pivotal role in our financial stability.

Responsibilities
- Process and audit high-volume invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval compliance.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and vendor statement reconciliations.
- Resolve complex payment discrepancies and vendor inquiries independently.
- Manage the AP workflow within our enterprise ERP system, including matching, coding, and payment processing.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including accruals and adjustments.
- Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure balanced intercompany accounts.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or related finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Blackbaud.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Index/Match).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a night shift environment with minimal supervision.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
