Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end accounts payable cycle including invoice processing, verification, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Collaborate with procurement team to manage vendor contracts and payment terms
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time
- Prepare monthly AP reports and support month-end/year-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Maintain accurate vendor master data and payment records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls frameworks
- Experience managing high-volume transaction processing (10,000+ invoices/month)
- Certification in Accounts Payable (APC) or similar highly valued
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
