Responsibilities
- Process and verify a high volume of invoices (2-way and 3-way matching) for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage and maintain the accounts payable ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded timely and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage) to manage vendor data and payments.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports related to accounts payable aging and expenditures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and AP workflows.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and resolve complex discrepancies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
