Responsibilities
- Strategically manage end-to-end accounts payable cycle for 500+ vendors across diverse industries
- Implement and optimize AP automation technologies to reduce processing time by 40%
- Lead month-end closing procedures with zero-tolerance reconciliation accuracy
- Develop vendor management protocols ensuring strategic payment terms and early payment discounts
- Conduct internal audits to maintain SOX compliance and mitigate financial risks
- Train AP team on new systems and process improvements
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor contract terms and payment schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA or CMA preferred
- 5+ years progressive AP experience in regulated financial services
- Expert proficiency in SAP FICO and Oracle NetSuite
- Proven track record of implementing AP automation (e.g., Coupa, Tipalti)
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA/macros for financial modeling
- SOX 404 compliance and internal audit experience
- Certification in Accounts Payable (APMP) or equivalent
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail at 99.9% accuracy
