Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable cycle including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams on payment terms and discounts
- Conduct month-end closing activities and support financial reporting
- Lead vendor relationship management and communication initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in mid-sized organizations
- Expertise in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Certification in Accounts Payable (AP) or Finance strongly preferred
- Proven ability to process high-volume transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills with vendors
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
