Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies within 48 hours
- Implement and maintain internal controls for payment processing
- Collaborate with procurement team to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Manage 1099 vendor reporting and compliance documentation
- Analyze AP data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Train junior staff on AP procedures and system usage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 5+ years of high-volume AP experience in corporate environment
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with automated payment systems (e.g., ACH, virtual cards)
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
