Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
- Implement process improvements for AP efficiency
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Manage vendor relationships and payment terms negotiation
- Generate AP reports for monthly close
- Lead AP department training initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of high-volume AP experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage payment cycles for 500+ vendors
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
