Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Optimize vendor payment cycles and resolve discrepancies with 3-way matching
- Lead month-end close activities for AP reconciliation and accruals
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting and audits
- Maintain compliance with SOX controls and internal financial policies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in a corporate environment
- Expertise in ERP systems and AP automation tools (Coupa, Tipalti)
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and financial modeling
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) or CPA preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and vendor audits
- Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives
